Members Present: Attending In-Person: Supervisors Mike Splinter, Doug Stingle, Jeanne Dodge, and Nancy Eggleston Attending Online: Supervisor Janell Wehr Staff Attending: Facilities Director Neuenfeldt, County Clerk Davis, Procurement Director Schultz, Finance Director Jossie, and County Executive Olson Others Attending: Mike Van Klei of TEGRA REPORTS 1. Special Meeting Attendance Reports (Portage County Ordinance 3.1.47 & 3.1.48) None. 2. Director's Report - Staffing, Operations, and Current & Future Projects Facilities Director Neuenfeldt reported on his department. PUBLIC NOTICE Members of the public who wish to address the Committee on specific agenda items must register their request at this time, with such comments subject to the public comment ordinance and the reasonable control of the Committee Chair as set forth in Robert’s Rules of Order. None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 3. July 14, 2026 Minutes A motion was made by Supervisor Eggleston, seconded by Supervisor Stingle, to approve the minutes. Motion to approve carried by voice vote, with no negative votes. DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION 4. Discussion/Possible Action Re: Approving and Authorizing a Contract Amendment with J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. to provide Construction Manager at Risk Services Related to Phase 1 of the Portage County Courthouse Remodel Project A motion was made by Supervisor Dodge, seconded by Supervisor Eggleston, to approve the resolution. Discussion/Possible Action Re: Approving and Authorizing a Contract Amendment with J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. to provide Construction Manager at Risk Services Related to Bid Package 2 - Mass Grading and Utilities Package for the New Jail and Law Enforcement Center Project A motion was made by Supervisor Eggleston, seconded by Supervisor Dodge, to approve the resolution. Motion to approve carried by voice vote, with no negative votes. 6. Discussion/Possible Action Re: Approving and Authorizing AET for Third Party Testing Services related to Geotechnical and Environmental Inspections for Construction of the New Portage County Jail/LEC A motion was made by Supervisor Dodge, seconded by Supervisor Eggleston, to approve and authorize AET for third party testing services.
