Town of Wheaton Commission Minutes Tuesday, May 5, 2026 1. Affidavit of Notice of Meeting per Wisconsin Statute 19.84 2. Call the Meeting to Order/Pledge of Allegiance/Moment of Silence 3. Present: Dale Hayden, Mike McGinley, Mary Rudd, Sara Holte and Ron Kragness Absent: Jessi Jones 4. Consent Agenda: Motion made by M. Rudd/R. Kragness to accept the agenda and approve the minutes from the March 3, 2026 meeting. Motion passed 5/0. 5. Public Comment: None 6. New Business 1. Review/Discuss: Pine Meadows HTP LLC, Parcel 22810-2021-00750000, Rezone from Ag to R3 (trailer park on Hwy 29): DIscussion about improvements made by owner. Owner has spoke with Chippewa County Planning & Zoning and changing zoning from AG to R3 is the best option. Motion to move to the Town Board by S. Holte/R. Kragness. Motion passed 5/0. 2. Proposed ZO Amendment: Discussion regarding Section 70-202 (g)(2) that the entire section needs to be looked at as it states no directional signs are allowed onsite or offsite and other issues with that section. 7. Old Business 1. Review/Discuss: Wisconsin 2025 Act 68: Subdivision Ordinance requirements: Discussion regarding issues with spelling, formatting and page numbers throughout the document. Motion to forward to the Town Board by M. Rudd/S. Holte. Motion passed 5/0 2. Review/Discuss/Act: Town of Wheaton Ordinance Review – Ordinance #8 Driveway, Roadway,& Mailbox: Tabled 8.
