Town of Wheaton Plan Commission Minutes Tuesday, February 3, 2026 1. Affidavit of Notice of Meeting per Wisconsin Statute 19.84 2. Call the Meeting to Order/Pledge of Allegiance/Moment of Silence 3. Present: Dale Hayden, Mike McGinley, Mary Rudd, Sara Holte & Ron Kragness. Absent: Jessi Jones 4. Consent Agenda: Motion made by S. Holte/M. Rudd to accept the agenda and approve the minutes from the December 2, 2025 meeting. Motion passed 5/0. 5. Public Comment: None 6. New Business 1. Review/Discuss: Blaeser Parcel Review, Parcel 22809-2233-00020000 and 22809-2234-74534001: Discussion regarding the 300 ft frontage issue. Various options discussed, one being meeting the 300 ft frontage issue using 150 ft of public roadway and 150 ft private road to meet the requirement. Recommendation to go to the Town Board and get their opinion of the Ordinance. 2. Review/Discuss: Wisconsin 2025 Act 68: Subdivision Ordinance requirements: Discussion regarding where to incorporate into the Subdivision Ordinance that the Town has. Recommendation to go to the Town Board and request if Cedar Corporation could assist with the required changes. 3. Review/Discuss: Conditional Use Permit Renewals – Non-Metallic Mines: This was an informational issue and no residents have contacted the Plan Commission with complaints. 7. Old Business 1. Review/Discuss/Act: Town of Wheaton Ordinance Review – Ordinance #28 Harmful and Exotic Animals: No further changes and sent to the Town Board for review and approval. 2. Review/Discuss/Act: Town of Wheaton Ordinance Review – Ordinance #8 Driveway, Roadway & Mailbox: Tabled 8. Set agenda items for the next WPC meeting: Ordinance #8 Driveway, Roadway & Mailbox, Wisconsin 2025 Act 68: Subdivision Ordinance 9. Adjourn: Motion made to adjourn by M. Rudd/R. Kragness.
