Town Board Meeting — Minutes

TOWN OF WHEATON BOARD MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, October 21, 2025 The meeting has been properly noticed per Wisconsin Statute 19.84 2) The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm with the Pledge of Allegiance being recited and a moment of silence being observed. 3) Roll call was taken and the following members were present: Ms. Miller, Mr. Deutscher, Mr. Gutsch, Mr. Books, Ms. Rudd, and Ms. Droske. Mr. Kohl’s was absent. 4) A motion was made by Books/Droske to approve the agenda. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. 5) Amending the 2025 budget for several unanticipated expenses was discussed. A motion was made by Books/Rudd to amend the 2025 budget as discussed. The motion carried on a unanimous roll call vote. The updated budget will be posted to the website. 6) The 2026 budget was discussed and set. The proposed 2026 budget will be posted at the town hall, fire station, and recycling center. 7) A motion by Rudd/ Books was made to adjourn. Motion carried by a unanimous voice vote at 9:28pm.
