Town of Wheaton Plan Commission Minutes Venue: Wheaton Town Hall, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729 Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025 1. Affidavit of Notice of Meeting per Wisconsin Statute 19.84 2. Call the Meeting to Order/Pledge of Allegiance/Moment of Silence 3. Roll Call Present: Mike McGinley, Mary Rudd, Jessi Jones, Tom Piercy and Sara Holte. Absent: Dale Hayden and Ron Kragness. 4. Consent Agenda: Motion made by M. Rudd/S. Holte to accept the agenda and approve the minutes of the May 6th meeting. Motion passed 5/0. 5. Public Comment: None 6. New Business 1. Review/Discuss/Act: Chippewa County proposed Solar Ordinance: Discussion regarding no battery storage, financial assurance, clarify what a solar energy system entails. There was nothing in the ordinance pertaining to windmills, etc. Proposed to call the ordinance renewable energy and encompass all forms of energy. Add that there should be soil borings before and after to establish a baseline. Leave all of #11 in the ordinance. A motion was made to make the recommendations to the Town Board by S. Holte/M. McGinley. Motion passed 5/0. 2. Review/Discuss: Ron/Cory Mahder - Proposed lot divide Parcel 22810-2812-72308001: Discussion of various options for the private driveway, cul-de-sac, east cul-de-sac and hammerhead. Motion made to recommend the east cul-de-sac option with a 60 ft. radius for approval by the Town Board by S. Holte/J. Jones. Motion passed 5/0. 3. Review/Discuss/Act: Town of Wheaton Park Ordinance – Chapter 6: Discussion on some language changes and also who enforces this ordinance. Motion made to forward to the Town Board for approval with the edits made by M. McGinley/S. Holte. Motion passed 5/0. 4. Review/Discuss/Act: Town of Wheaton Ordinance Review – Ordinance 38 – Notice of RecordsAccess: Further research needed. Tabled until next month. 5. Review/Discuss/Act: Town of Wheaton Ordinance Review – Ordinance40 – Plan Commission: Further research needed, Tabled until next month. 7. Old Business 1. No old business to discuss 8.
