Town of Wheaton Planning Commision Meeting Minutes Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 1) The meeting has been properly posted (per Wisconsin Statute 19.84) 2) The meeting was called to order at 6 PM by Chairman Hayden with the Pledge of Allegiance being recited and a moment of silent being observed. 3) Roll call was taken, All members were present except Mary Rudd. 4) A motion was made by Holte, second by McGinly, to approve the agenda and WPC minutes of the March 4th, 2025 meeting. 5) There was no public comment. 6) New Business: - Smisky CUP Request passed at Chippewa zoning committee - Proposed revisions to the Chippewa County zoning ordinance, WPC members to review and give feedback. - Midwest coin concepts sight plan approved with a motion by McGinly, and second by Kragness. - Need for a “Town of Wheaton Right of Way ordinance” tabled to next month. 7) Old Business: - Need for a Town of Wheaton solar ordinance tabled to next month. - Use of town right of way, potential ordinance to be reviewed and tabled to next month. 8) Agenda items for the next WPC meeting: - Need for a Town of Wheaton solar ordinance. - Use of town right of way. - Town of Wheaton right of way ordinance. Next meeting date May 6th, 2025 at 6 PM at the Wheaton Town Hall Meeting adjourned at 6:25 PM with a motion by Holte, and second by Kragness
