Fire Commission — Minutes

TOWN OF WHEATON FIRE COMMISION MEETING MINUTES Wednesday January 8th, 2025 1) The meeting has been properly posted (per Wisconsin statute 19.84). 2) The meeting was called to order at 6:30pm by Taylor Quinnell with the Pledge of Allegiance being recited and a moment of silence being observed. 3) Roll call was taken and Commissioner Quinnell and Commissioner Jones were both present. 4) Motion was made by Jones, second by Quinnell, to approve of the agenda. 5) There was no public comment 6) Fire Chief Report: Chief Adam Blaskowski - One new member was added to the rolls 7) Unfinished business - Receive any SOP revisions - Chief is reading one or two at meetings and discussing with the department starting in December. 8) New business - Continuing to review the Fire Chief evaluation form. - Looking at adding questions to the satisfaction survey for the department to include questions about the Fire Chief. - Creation of fire Commissioners “Guide Book” tabled until the next meeting. Next meeting date: March 5th 2025 at 6:30pm Meeting adjourned at 7:54 motioned by Jones, second by Quinnell.
