Minutes prepared by Jennifer Wright, Town Clerk *Approved 9/16/2026* Lake Holcombe Town Board Meeting Meeting Minutes August 19th, 2026 Call To Order: Meeting called to order by Anders at 7 p.m. Affirmation of Public Notice – Post Office, Town Hall and Veteran’s Memorial Sign Roll Call and Establish Quorum Present: Jeff Anders, David Staudacher. Others Present: Jennifer Wright, Brenda Cigan, Ginna Young Dennis & Dorothy Roberts Absent: Brian Guthman Pledge of Allegiance Minutes: Motion by Staudacher seconded by Anders to approve the minutes from July 15th, 2026, board meeting as presented. Motion carried. Treasurer Report: Presented by Cigan. Motion by Staudacher seconded by Anders to approve the Treasurer’s report. Chairman’s Report None provided – Chairman absent and no update provided. Public Comment: Mr. & Mrs. Roberts inquired whether the Town has ordinances in place regarding pet registration/licensing and barking or nuisance animals. Mrs. Roberts expressed concern that if pets are not properly licensed or registered, they may not be up to date on required vaccinations. We will review the Town’s current ordinances regarding pet licensing and barking/nuisance complaints and provide an update to Mr. & Mrs. Roberts once the information has been confirmed. The information is being provided to the Chairman for review, along with the letter from the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office that was submitted to the Town Board by Mr. & Mrs. Roberts. Discussions: 1. Poll worker wages – Review and possible motion for increase. Motion by Anders was seconded by Staudacher to approve increase for Poll Workers $13 and Chief Inspectors $15, training will be the same pay, effective 8/19/2026. Motion Carried 2. Clerk’s Report Review and/or approve licenses and permits: • Building Permits (29387 270th St., 28094 295th Ave, 29204 281st St. and 29425 263rd Ave.) • Operator Licenses (1- Big Minnow) Motion by Anders was seconded by Staudacher to approve Operator licenses and permits Motion Carried Minutes prepared by Jennifer Wright, Town Clerk *Approved 9/16/2026* 3.
