Holcombe Area Veterans Meeting Minutes 10-17-2024 Attendance: Jim M, Dave S., Judy, Rhonda, Walt, Chuck, Ronnie, Bryan G., Ken, Rick, Bill, Bill H. Aaron and Mark 1. Pledge of Allegiance. 2. Guest Aron Hetchler – Pine Drive Bar and Grill. Offered menu items if we wish to have a dinner in January or February 2025. Dinner for about 60 people. Will have ash raffle. To be discussed at later meeting. 3. Secretary Report: 4. Treasurers Report: 5. Site update - The cement work is done for the year due to the weather. Will need to order 23 more legacy stones. Taylor Anderson will be at the next meeting to discuss the landscaping. (Natural stone vs concrete)Rick asked the status of electricity – all is done except receptacles in the walls. Discussion on installing a second driveway in the next 5 years. A motion by Walt Johnson to leave the American Flag up all winter, take down the other flags and repair if needed, replace any flag that an not be repaired, and put back up by Memorial Day 2025. If needed the American Flag will be replaced also. With no further discussion, seconded by Rick Mitchell. M/C. 6. Tim Marshall, Dave S. and Charlie will be liaison between us and the Town Board. 7.
