Minutes prepared by Tracey Larson, Town Clerk Lake Holcombe Town Board Meeting Meeting Minutes May 9, 2024 Present: Brian Guthman, Doug Olson, David Staudacher. Others Present: Tracey Larson, Jim Mataczynski, Ginna Young, Ben Jordan, Jamie Larson, Steve Shackleton, Ellie Peabody Call To Order: Meeting called to order by Guthman at 7:05 p.m. Minutes: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve the April 11,2024 minutes as presented. Motion carried. Treasurer Report: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to accept the treasurers report as presented. Motion carried. Go Chippewa County Introduction: E. Peabody introduced herself and talked about Go Chippewa County and tourism. Chairman’s Report: Guthman talked about a request for temporary speed bumps, status of the satellite fire station, cameras in the pavilion, and the bridge update. Public Comment: G. Young commented about the events at the town hall and thanked D. Shackleton for doing such a good job with coordinating and making sure the hall is open for them. Chippewa County ATV/UTV Ordinance: Discussion held. Guthman will look into combining the town’s current ordinance so it mirrors the county ordinance and bring back to the June meeting. Clerk’s Report: Building permits and quarterly budget review were reviewed. Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve the operator license for Phat Bob’s. Motion carried. Approve Bills: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve the bills as presented. Motion carried. Adjourn: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
