M/S Seidling/Miller. Unanimous. FINANCIALS Olson presented the financials and noted that all filings were done in March. She noted that BID has not received a bill for the website; Larson would check on that. Larson noted that Cedar Hill was the last to submit an invoice for the plants downtown and she requested that the bill be sent directly to her. OTHER BUSINESS Second Street Garden volunteers Larson shared that all the gardens were taken except for one by the lot that is for sale on North Second Street. There is a Scout group of 16 and 22 volunteers to maintain the gardens. Larson suggested that the BID Board provide gi ft cards to an ice cream place as a thank you to volunteers and suggested a total amount of $400.00. M/S Miller/Magnus. Unanimous. Kinnickinnic River Pathway Larson noted that there seems to be a lot of goose poop on the trail this year. Board members noted that there were a lot of geese and a lack of rain may have exacerbated the pro blem (the trail wasn ’t being washed clean periodically). Larson asked Shively to inquire about Public Works ability to run a street sweeper down the trail, perhaps every couple of weeks. It was noted that there are several new park benches along the trail that look great; however, the re are some pic nic tables that looked aged. Larson suggested that the BID could help purchase some new ones; Shively would inquir e with Public Works. Public Works support in the downtown area Larson shared that Public Works waters all the ba skets and provides mulch and regularly waters the Second Street gardens and everything is looking great. She will bring treats to Public Works as a thank you. The Board noted that staff is doing a really good job and the r egular mowing of Veteran’s Park is particularly appreciated. Music in the Park Larson said she had tickets and food truck vouchers in her car if anyone was interested. Charlie Parr will be playing in Heritage Park this week and there will be ice cream and other food trucks available. BID Board Chair: Joleen Larson 715-426-7776 joleenlarson@hotmail.com BID Staff: Emily Shively 715-426-3437 eshively@rfcity.org She asked Shively to inquire as to the feasibility of having the trails swept prior to the event as there is a significant amount of goose poop this year; likely due to it being so dry – rain hasn’t washed any away. Main Street Updates Juniors may be looking for a BID grant for a new awning. Pawsh has opened downtown (dog grooming) along with Kindred (vin tage store). Our Neighbor ’s Place and Garden Divas are both doing well with their downtown locations. It was noted that it seems like the business climate is good for downtown businesses right now. Magnus shared that there were 150 people for the recent golf event and it turned out really well. ADJOURNMENT Chair Larson adjourned the meeting at 9:03 am
