CITY OF RIVER FALLS UTILITY ADVISORY BOARD MEETING MINUTES MAY 18, 2026 The meeting was called to order by Utility Advisory Board (UAB) Chair Chris Lick at 6:30 p.m. The pledge of allegiance was said. Utility Advisory Board Present: Mark Klecker, Chris Lick, Tim Thum and Rose Walker Utility Advisory Board Absent: Josh Amundsen and Amber Bjork Staff Present: Utility Director Kevin Westhuis; Water/Wastewater Superintendent Bradley Vick; Public Works Manager Erica Ellefson; Executive Assistant Lanae Nelson; and IT Technician Joe Reardon Approval of Minutes: Meeting Minutes: 04-20-2026 MSC Klecker/Thum approved minutes. Unanimous. PUBLIC COMMENTS: William Hansen, N8723 1025 Street spoke on renewable energy source of Junction Falls Hydroelectric Dam. REPORTS: 2025 Annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) Water/Wastewater Superintendent Vick presented the 2025 CCR; was included in the packet. Finance Report Public Works Manager Ellefson reviewed the financials that were included in the packet. Utility Dashboards Utility Director Westhuis reviewed the dashboards. Monthly Report The utility reports for April 2026 were included in the packet. Utility Director’s Report Welcomed Alderperson at Large Rose Walker as the UAB Council Representative. Wastewater Treatment Plant Biosolids Dryer construction Project update was provided. Thanked the Customer Service Representatives for assisting customers facing disconnection. Spring Cleanup is May 18-23 at the City Public Works Garage. ADJOURNMENT: MSC Klecker/Thum to adjourn. Unanimous.
