June 18, 2026 Special Town Meeting of the Electors Note: These are the proposed Minutes that will be approved at the next Board meeting. ___________________________________________________________________________ Minutes Thursday, June 18, 2026 430 Dewey Drive-Stevens Point WI 54482 Verify Open Meeting Notice & Roll Call: The open meeting notice was verified. Chairman Maurice King, Supervisor LeRoy Pukrop, Supervisor Dennis Meis, Clerk Angela Lochinger, and Treasurer Lori Kolodziej were present. 8 town residents and/or visitors were present. Call to Order: The Special Town Meeting of the Electors was called to order by Chairman King at 6:00 pm. Establish the hourly wage to be paid under s. 60.37(4) to a town employee who is also an elected town officer: Chairman King explained that in March 2026, the town board approved increased part-time employee wages to $22 per hour with a CDL and $20 per hour without a CDL. Because wages for employees who are also elected town officers must be approved by the electors, the proposed increases were from $19 to $22 per hour with a CDL and from $16 to $20 per hour without a CDL. Jennifer Laskowski motioned to increase the hourly wage for a part-time employee who is also an elected town officer to $22 per hour with a CDL and $20 per hour without a CDL. Doug Evica seconded. Motion passed 8-0. Chairman King closed the Special Town Meeting of the Electors at 6:03 pm.
