Town Board Meeting – Special Meeting June 3, 2026 8:30pm Brussels Community Center, 1366 Junction Road, Brussels, WI 54204 Board Members Present: J. Wautier, Marchant, P. Wautier, Dantoin. 1. Call to Order: Chair Joe Wautier called the meeting to order at 8:31 p.m. 2. Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 3. Approval of Agenda: Motion by Marchant, seconded by Wautier to approve. Motion carried. 4. Town Roads: Discussion occurred regarding bids received for road repair projects. Bids were re- ceived from Scott Construction, Fahrner Asphalt Sealers, and Door County Highway Department. Following review, the Board selected the following bids from Door County Highway Department: • Cemetery Road – $8,739 (S&S to reimburse the Town for damages) • Norm's Road – $6,751 • Lark Road – $3,058 • Roosevelt Court Park & Ride – $5,616 • Pine Road – $17,209 • Snow Road – $14,114 • Rouer Court Culvert – $4,500 Total approved project cost: $59,987. Motion by Marchant, seconded by J. Wautier, to approve the Door County Highway Department bids for hot mix asphalt overlay work as proposed and identified above. Motion carried. The Board also reviewed previously approved road projects for 2026: • Low Road LRIP Project – $66,500 • Morning View Road – $43,946 • Rabbit Road (2 patches) – $11,708 • Marsh Road (4 patches) – $30,147 Total previously approved road projects: $152,301. With the addition of the projects approved at this meeting, total road construction expenditures for 2026 are estimated at $212,288. After reimbursement from S&S in the amount of $8,739 for Ceme- tery Road damages, the Town's net road construction expense is projected to be $203,549. 5. Adjournment: Motion by Marchant, seconded J. Wautier, 8:47 p.m. Motion carried.
