January 28, 2026 Town of Luxemburg Plan Commission Meeting Meeting called to order by the Zoning Lead – John Haen at 6:00 PM Plan Commission Board members present: Jim Salentine (excused) John Haen Greg Ronsman Jerry Miesler (excused) Gene Seidl Edith Lauscher – Zoning Admin. Town Board Members: Linda Jonet – Chairman Matt Haen - Supervisor #1 Leonard Wachal - Supervisor #2 Kim Bosman - Clerk Community Members in attendance: Matthew Salentine Matthew Salentine was requesting to rezone Parcel 31 012 26.022, which is in the NW/SW¼ of NE¼, Section 26, T24N, R23E (E1933 County Rd A) from A-1 Exclusive Ag to B-1 Business for his woodworking business, so he can put a sign up. Area is just under 5 acres. John Haen called for a motion to grant the rezoning. Motion to approve the rezone by Greg Ronsman, with a 2 nd by Gene Seidl. A vote from the Plan Commission Board to grant the rezoning of Parcel 31 012 26.022 which is in the NW/SW¼ of NE¼, Section 26, T24N, R23E (E1933 County Road A) from A-1 Exclusive Ag to B-1 Business. 3 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. Linda Jonet then brought the decision to the Town Board. Matthew Haen made the motion to approve the rezone, with a 2 nd by Leonard Wachal. Motion carried. 2 ayes, 0 nays John Haen made the request for a motion to adjourn. Motion by John Haen and a 2 nd by Gene Seidl to adjourn. Motion carried. 3 ayes, 0 nays.
