October 6, 2025 Town of Luxemburg Plan Commission Meeting Meeting called to order by the Zoning Lead – Jim Salentine at 7:15 PM Plan Commission Board members present: Jim Salentine John Haen Greg Ronsman Jerry Miesler Gene Seidl Edith Lauscher – Zoning Administrator Town Board Members: Linda Jonet – Chairman (absent) Matt Haen - Supervisor #1 Leonard Wachal - Supervisor #2 Kim Bosman - Clerk Community Members in attendance: Joshua & Izana Watruba Dean J & Mary C Abts Trust and Joshua & Isana M Watruba was requesting to rezone 10 acres & .82 acres from A-1 Exclusive Ag to R-1 Residential. Parcel 31 012 6.021 and 31 012 6.05. Discussed adding a stipulation that only 1 house, by the owner, can be placed on the property and there is to be no other home on the property. Jim Salentine called for a motion to grant the rezoning with the stipulation that the owner can place only 1 house on the property. Motion to approve the rezone with the stipulation by John Haen, with a 2 nd by Gene Seidl. A unanimous yes from the Plan Commission Board to grant the rezoning, with the stipulation that the owner can only place 1 house on the property, of 10 acres & .82 acres from A-1 Exclusive Ag to R-1 Residential. Said land being located Parcel 31 012 6.021 and 31 021 6.05. Motion carried. 5 ayes, 0 nays Matt Haen then brought the decision to the Town Board. Leonard Wachal made the motion to approve the rezone, with a 2nd by Matt Haen. Motion carried. 2 ayes, 0 nays Jim made the request for a motion to adjourn.
