June 3, 2024 Town of Luxemburg Plan Commission Meeting Meeting called to order by the Zoning Lead – Jim Salentine at 7:07 PM Plan Commission Board members present: Jim Salentine John Haen Greg Ronsman Gene Seidl Edith Lauscher – Zoning Administrator Town Board Members: Linda Jonet - Chairman Ken Dart - Supervisor #1 Leonard Wachal - Supervisor #2 Glenda Daul - Clerk Community Members in attendance: Al Seidl Craig & Kari Barrette Craig & Kari Barrette are requesting to rezone 1.78 acres from A-1 Exclusive Ag to R-1 Residential to build a house. Al Seidl is willing to sell this land to them. Al stated there are no tile lines on this property. The road to the house will be maintained by the Barrettes. Jim Salentine called for a motion to grant the rezoning. Motion to approve the rezone by John Haen, with a 2nd by Greg Ronsman. A unanimous yes from the Plan Commission Board to grant the rezoning of 1.78 acres A-1 Exclusive Ag to R-1 Residential for the Barrettes. Motion carried. 4 ayes, 0 nays Linda Jonet then brought the decision to the Town Board. Leonard Wachal motioned to approve the rezoning, with a 2 nd by Ken Dart. Motion carried. 2 ayes, 0 nays Jim made the request for a motion to adjourn. Motion by Gene Seidl and a 2 nd by Greg Ronsman to adjourn. Motion carried. 4 ayes, 0 nays. Meeting adjourned at 7:18 PM.
