May 23, 2024 Town of Luxemburg Plan Commission Meeting Meeting called to order by the Zoning Lead – Jim Salentine at 7:19 PM Plan Commission Board members present: Jim Salentine John Haen Greg Ronsman Jerry Meisler Gene Seidl Edith Lauscher – Zoning Administrator Town Board Members: Linda Jonet - Chairman Ken Dart - Supervisor #1 Leonard Wachal - Supervisor #2 Glenda Daul - Clerk Community Members in attendance: Debbie Zimmer Don Pritzl Wayne Salentine Debbie Zimmer was requesting to rezone 13.48 acres from A-2 Exclusive Ag to R-1 Residential for the purpose of separating into 5 lots. This consists of one house parcel (2.5 acres) and 4 lots. She would like to sell the house lot and one other lot saving 3 lots for herself and 2 daughters. Don Pritzl questioned if a business could go into these lots and was informed it can’t as this would be zoned residential. Debbie stated that Bob Berger is currently farming the reset of the land for at lest the next 3 years. Jim Salentine called for a motion to grant the rezoning. Motion to approve the rezone by Gene Seidl, with a 2 nd by John Haen. A unanimous yes from the Plan Commission Board to grant the rezoning for Debbie Zimmer from A-2 Exclusive Ag to R-1 Residential of 13.48 acres. Motion carried. 5 ayes, 0 nays Linda Jonet then brought the decision to the Town Board. Leonard Wachal motioned to approve the rezoning, with a 2 nd by Ken Dart. Motion carried. 2 ayes, 0 nays Jim made the request for a motion to adjourn. Motion by Jim Salentine and a 2 nd by John Haen to adjourn. Motion carried. 5 ayes, 0 nays. Meeting adjourned at 7:25 PM.
