11.28.2023 Zoning Meeting Minutes

November 28, 2023 Town of Luxemburg Plan Commission Meeting The meeting was called to order by Chair Jim Salentine at 7:00 PM. Plan Commission Board Members present: Edith Lauscher, Jim Salentine, John Haen, Greg Ronsman, Gene Seidl, Jerry Meisler Town Board Members present: Linda Jonet, Chair Ken Dart, Supervisor #1 Leonard Wachal, Supervisor #2 Community Members in attendance: Brian Peot, Randy & Jill Bosman Brian Peot stated Kyle Kahr is requesting to rezone 1.5 acres from A-2 Exclusive Ag to R-1 Residential to create a 1.5 acres parcel to sell home. The said property is located at E0383 State Rd 54. Kyle will still farm 9.8 acres with 0.2 acres highway. He is also trying to get the state to grant another driveway for him to get back to the land but this probably will not happen. Jim Salentine called for a motion to grant the rezoning. Motion to approve the variance by Jim Salentine, with a 2nd by John Haen. A unanimous yes from the Plan Commission Board to grant the rezoning for Kyle Kahr, 5 ayes, 0 nays Linda Jonet then brought the decision to the Town Board. Ken Dart motioned to approve the rezoning, with a 2nd by Leonard Wachal. Motion carried. 2 ayes, 0 nays Jim made the request for a motion to adjourn. Motion by Jim Salentine and a 2nd by John Haen to adjourn. Motion carried, 5 ayes, 0 nays. Meeting adjourned at 7:10 PM. Glenda Daul
