December 23, 2025 Town of Luxemburg
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Linda Jonet at 7:00 PM.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Matt Haen, Leonard Wachal, Jerry Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Kim Bosman
Community Present: Julie Jacobs and Suzie Liest from Kewaunee County Cause for Paws
Public Comments: Julie and Suzie spoke regarding the non profit Kewaunee County Cause for Paws which
was started in April. The non profit raises money to pay for the yearly contracts for municipalities in
Kewaunee County to be able to bring an unlimited amount of unsheltered animals to the Human Society.
The animals can not be turned away. Cause for Paws would pay the Town yearly and the Town would pay
the contract (Humane Society) monthly. The public and/or Town would be responsible for collecting and
bringing the unsheltered animals to the Humane Society. The Board will discuss further and Linda will let
them know of the decision.
