January 14th Regular Board Meeting

January 14, 2025 At 7:05 p.m., Supervisor Gayle Ashbery called to order the regular monthly meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Carlton. Present were the following: Councilman Brian McCue, Councilman Charles Ricci, and Supervisor Gayle Ashberry. Councilman Dana Woolston was excused. Councilman Olles was sworn in. Following roll call and the Pledge of Allegiance the minutes from December 10, 2024 were approved by Mr. Ricci and seconded by Mr. McCue and carried. Changes to the salaries of 2025 had to be approved. The changes were approved by Mr. McCue, seconded by Mr. Ricci and carried. A motion by Mr. Olles to approve January 6, 2025 organizational meeting, seconded by Mr. McCue, and carried. A motion by Mr. McCue to approve year end meeting, seconded by Mr. Ricci, and carried. A motion by Mr. McCue to approve supervisor report year end, seconded by Mr. Olles, and carried. Expenditures should be at 100% of the annual budget. o General Fund 81.43% o Highway 93.59% o Water 94.29% A motion by Mr. Olles to approve the Town Clerk Report, seconded by Mr. Ricci, and carried. A motion by Mr. Olles to approve the Coding/Zoning Report seconded by Mr. Ricci, and carried. A motion by Mr. McCue to approve December Justice Report, presented by Kevin Hurley, accepted by Mr. Ricci and carried. Highway Report was presented by Kurt VanWycke: Fire Dept. Dwayne Tinkous, here for Seth Dumrese, gave update on calls/man hours for the month of December: o 24 calls o 77 manhours o 289 total calls for 2024 . A motion by Mr. McCue to approve the December vouchers was seconded by Mr. Riccci and carried. At 7:20 p.m. motion to adjourn was made by Mr. McCue, seconded by Mr. Olles and carried.
