November 15th Budget Meeting

November 15, 2016 At 6:30 pm, Supervisor Gayle Ashbery called to order the scheduled special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Carlton. Present were the following Board members: Councilman James Shoemaker, Councilman Marcus Coville, Councilman John Fitzak, and Councilman Dana Woolston. Also present was Dave Krull, Highway Supt. Following roll call, the Pledge of Allegiance was said. Mrs. Ashbery stated that she spoke to the Accountant regarding the water district revenues on the 2017 preliminary budget. The accountant came up with that number because they did not want to over estimate and come in short at the end of the year. A motion by Mr. Woolston to pass Local Law #1 to override the tax levy limit, Roll Call Mr. Shoemaker- Nay Mr. Fitzak- Aye Mrs. Ashbery- Aye Mr. Coville- Nay Mr. Woolston- Aye And Carried A motion by Mr. Fitzak to pass the 2017 Preliminary Budget, Roll Call Mr. Shoemaker- Nay Mr. Fitzak- Aye Mrs. Ashbery- Aye Mr. Coville- Nay Mr. Woolston- Aye And Carried At 6:35 pm a motion by Mr. Woolston to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Fitzak and carried.
