LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF CARLTON
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Carlton Town Board will hold a public
hearing on October 14, 2025 at 7:05 P.M. at the Carlton Town Hall, 14341
Waterport-Carlton Road in the Town of Carlton, Orleans County, New
York to consider the adoption of proposed Local Law No. 5 of 2025
entitled “Extension of Imposing a Temporary Town-Wide Moratorium
on the Installation of Freestanding or Ground-Mounted Solar Energy
Systems in the Town of Carlton” .
A copy of the proposed local law is available for inspection by
interested persons at the off ice of the Carlton Town Clerk during
regular business hours. All persons desiring to be heard in favor
of or in opposition to such proposed local law will be heard at this
public hearing.
