Ozaukee County Distribution Interconnection Project Update Meuer informed the committee of the status of the ATC (American Transmission Company) project, which involves upgrading the power lines running from Forest Junction to the Port Washington Data Center. ATC has adjusted a few areas of their routes and resubmitted their plan with the PSC (Public Service Commission). The primary route remains the recommended option because it utilizes existing easements and existing lines. The alternative route would require new structures to be added. Discussion followed. 10. Items for Action or Discussion a. Action: Lunda Construction, request for approval in accordance with Section 74.17(f)(5) of the Calumet County Sanitary Ordinance to use a holding tank for a commercial facility with a design wastewater flow exceeding 150 gallons per day Depies explained that Lunda Construction is seeking to construct a new building and requires a holding tank for wastewater flow exceeding 150 gallons per day. Due to the placement of a large existing parking lot and prior ground disturbance, there is no suitable location on the site for a conventional Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (POWTS). The request has also been submitted to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for approval because the facility may generate non-domestic wastewater. The county recommends approving the holding tank, noting that Lunda has a strong past record of properly servicing their current tank. Motion by Ott seconded by Kesler that the committee has no objections to a holding tank with a wastewater flow of over 150 gallons a day. Motion carried unanimously. b.
