County Board Meeting Minutes Tuesday, June 16, 2026 The County Board of Calumet County was called to order on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 6:00 PM by Chair Connors. 1 ROLL CALL Supervisors Present: Budde, Connors, Dietrich, Elliott, Kesler, Kolb, Laughrin, Lowey, Machesky, McCann, Mueller, Schwalenberg, Voight and Wayne. Supervisors Excused: Breeden, Cleveland, Hofberger, LaTour, Stier, Stuckmann and Thunes. Staff and Others present: Todd Romenesko, County Administrator; Cheryl Heller, Deputy County Clerk; Tristan Vukosich, Network Technician; Jim Messer, Desktop Support Specialist; and Kevin Fischer, Zoning Board of Adjustment Chair. 2 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 3 APPROVAL OF AGENDA Moved by Supervisor Mueller and seconded by Supervisor Elliott to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously. 4 APPROVAL OF MINUTES Moved by Supervisor Dietrich and seconded by Supervisor McCann to approve the minutes of the May 19, 2026 County Board meeting as presented. Motion carried unanimously. 5 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Zoning Board of Adjustment Chair, Kevin Fischer, addressed the Board to give accolades to Deb Reinhart and Jon Cousins for their dedication and commitment during their many years of service to the Zoning Board of Adjustment. 6 SPECIAL BUSINESS 6a. Chris Meuer, Director of Planning, Zoning and Land Information presented "Data Centers and Land Use Impacts." A copy of the PowerPoint presentation is in the file. It can be reviewed at the County Clerk's office. 6b. Todd Romenesko, County Administrator, presented "How county finances shape Wisconsin human services - and what we do about it." A copy of the PowerPoint presentation is in the file. It can be reviewed at the County Clerk's office. 7 SUPERVISOR REPORTS Supervisor Mueller expressed sincere thanks to the County Veterans Service Office staff and all County Supervisors for the support he's received after the passing of his wife. Moved by Supervisor Schwalenberg and seconded by Supervisor Machesky to Approve the following appointments; Jody Schwarz to fill the vacancy on the Brillion Library Board whose term will expire 7/1/2027; Kevin Fischer, to the Zoning Board of Adjustments. whose term will expire on 6/30/2029; Lynetta Mahlberg to the Zoning Board of Adjustment whose term will expire 6/30/2029.
