CITY OF NEW HOLSTEIN COMMON COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, July 15, 2026 6:15 PM City Hall The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council was called to order by Mayor Jeff Hebl, presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Council members Gene Woelfel, Becca Mosier, Norm Propson , Ken Thede , Brad Hess, Kathy Schroeder , Paula Oakley, and Dan Watson were present at roll call . Also present were City Administrator Scott Depies and Police Captain Chuck Schroeder. Others in attendance: None It was noted that the meeting was properly announced. A motion was made by Hess, seconded by Mosier, and carried to approve the agenda. A motion was made by Schroeder, seconded by Oakley, and carried to approve the minutes from the previous Common Council meeting on June 17, 2026. Citizen Input: None Consent Agenda: The Mayor requested a motion regarding the Consent Agenda. A motion was made by Woelfel, seconded by Mosier, and carried to approve the Consent Agenda. Approval of Financial Reports: Financial Reports were presented and approved as part of the Consent Agenda , approving the Treasurer’s report and Invoices totaling $412,564.58 as of July 15, 2026. Approval of Park Use and Special Event Applications: A park use application submitted by Tim Ehlenbeck, New Holstein Soccer Association, for June 18 -20, 2027 tournament was approved as part of the Consent Agenda. Approval of License: No License applications were presented Reports of Departments and Committees : Police Department Petty Cash - $12.90; Building Permits $604,125; Library Receipt Report $737.49. Action – Approval of the New Holstein Airport Master Plan: A motion was made by Woelfel, seconded by Oakley, and carried to approve the New Holstein Airport Master Plan. 2. Action – Approval of Beautification Funds for Civic Park Electrical: A motion was made by Schroeder, seconded by Oakley, and carried to approve the use of beautification funds for Civic Park electrical upgrade. 3. Action – Update to Mayoral Appointments to Include James Burnett in the RBL Committee: A motion was made by Mosier, seconded by Hess, and carried to approve the mayoral appointment of James Burnett to the Revolving Business Loan Committee.
