CITY OF NEW HOLSTEIN POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES November 11, 2025 Location: City Hall, 2110 Washington Street, New Holstein, WI 53061 Members Present: Elroy Schreiner, Sonny Schaar, and Dan Beckman, Others Present: Police Chief Fisher, Fire Chief Carey, and City Administrator Scott Depies The meeting was called to order by President Schreiner. It was noted that the meeting was properly announced. Roll call was taken by Schaar. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A motion was made by Beckman, seconded by Schreiner and carried, to approve the agenda. A motion was made by Beckman, seconded by Schreiner to approve the minutes from the previous meetings. No public comments were made. No communication. Report from Police Chief: See attached. Report from Fire Chief: 67 calls in 2025 (10 have been on the roadway – car accident, oil spill). Cameran Fritz, Myrissa Reinhard and Carley Blado all passed Firefighter One. A motion was made by Schreiner, seconded by Schaar and carried, to approve Cameran Fritz, Myrissa Reinhard and Carley Blado as Firefighters as they have passed the required certification. A discussion took place on the changes to Chapter Four. The Fire Chief explained the Billable Accident procedure to the Commission. The next regular scheduled meeting will be on February 10, 2026.
