CITY OF NEW HOLSTEIN COMMON COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, December 17, 2025 6:15 PM City Hall The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council was called to order by Mayor Richard Snelson (via Teams), presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Council members Gene Woelfel, Paula, Brad Hess (via Teams), Becca Mosier, Norm Propson, Steve Abrams, Kathy Schroeder, and Dan Watson were present at roll call. Also present were City Administrator Scott Depies, and Police Captain Chuck Schroeder. Others in attendance: Mark Sherry It was noted that the meeting was properly announced. A motion was made by Woelfel, seconded by Mosier, and carried to approve the agenda. A motion was made by Propson, seconded by Abrams, and carried to approve the minutes from the previous Common Council meeting on November 19, 2025, and the Special Council meeting on December 2, 2025. Citizen Input: None The Mayor asked for a motion regarding the Consent Agenda. A motion was made by Schroeder, seconded by Mosier, and carried to approve the Consent Agenda. Approval of Financial Reports Financial Reports were presented and approved as part of the Consent Agenda , approving the Treasurer’s report and Invoices totaling $237,083.92 as of December 17, 2025. Approval of License Applications: None Approval of Park Use and Special Event Applications: None Reports of Departments and Committees : Police Department Petty Cash - $67.35; Building Permits $17,511; Library Receipt Report $1,045.00. Minutes: Committee of the Whole November 19, Library Board November 10, Utilities and Sanitary Sewer Commissions October 28, Police and Fire Commission November 11, Plan Commission September 15. Action Items: A motion was made by Woelfel, seconded by Mosier, and carried to approve Certified Survey Map for Parcel ID 18791 —Monroe St. Upon call of the vote, the motion passed with Schroeder, Propson, Mosier, Hess, Watson, Abrams, and Woelfel voting Aye. A motion was made by Woelfel, seconded by Mosier, and carried to approve the updated Employee Halth Insurance Opt Out Form , upon call of the vote, the motion passed with Schroeder, Propson, Mosier, Hess, Watson, Abrams, and Woelfel voting Aye.
