Town Caucus Minutes 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 21, 2025 UNAPPROVED BY BOARD Stockbridge Community Hall The caucus was called to order at 7:00 PM by Town Chairman Joe Kuhn and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Present were 13 residents: Joe Kuhn, Maurice Ecker, Ralph Schmid, Andrea Ortlieb, Marvin Ecker Jr., Mark Ecker, Jennifer Nadler-Lont, Jon Groeschel, Larry Goeser, Don Propson, Jacob Schwefel, Dale VandenBloomer and Steve Phipps. Joe gave a brief overview of the objectives and suggested procedures. Election of chair: Marvin Ecker moved to nominate Maurice Ecker to chair the caucus and Steve Phipps 2nd the motion. No other nominations were offered after 3 calls and Ralph moved and Steve 2nd the motion to close nominations and vote in favor of Maurice Ecker to chair the caucus. M/C. Maurice moved to nominate Ralph Schmid and Marvin Ecker as ballot clerks/tellers to count the ballots if a paper ballot was used/needed. No other nominations were offered after 3 calls and Andrea and Jon 2nd the motion to close nominations and vote in favor of Ralph Schmid and Marvin Ecker to serve as tellers. M/C. Maurice opened the floor for nominations for chairperson: Jon nominated Joe Kuhn. Steve 2nd the motion. No other nominations were offered after 3 calls and Ralph Schmid moved to close nominations and cast a unanimous vote for Joe Kuhn. Jon 2nd. M/C. Maurice opened the floor for nominations for supervisor: Joe nominated Mark Ecker. Steve 2nd the motion. Steve nominated Jon Groeschl and Joe 2nd the motion. No other nominations were offered after 3 calls and Joe moved to close nominations and cast a unanimous vote for Mark Ecker and Jon Groeschel. Ralph 2nd. M/C. Maurice opened the floor for nominations for clerk: Jon nominated Steve Phipps. Mark E. 2nd the motion. No other nominations were offered after 3 calls and Ralph Schmid moved to close nominations and cast a unanimous vote for Steve Phipps. Jacob 2nd. M/C. Maurice opened the floor for nominations for treasurer: Jon nominated Andrea Ortlieb. Mark E. 2nd the motion. No other nominations were offered after 3 calls and Joe moved to close nominations and cast a unanimous vote for Andrea Ortlieb. Mark E. 2nd. M/C. At 7:09 PM, Andrea moved and Maurice Ecker 2nd to adjourn. M/C. All votes cast at the caucus were voice vote in favor and no votes against any motion were heard.
