Public Hearing – Town Board — Minutes

Minutes of Budget Meeting 11/11/2025 The Town Board of the Town of Brothertown met at 6:00 p.m. at the town hall to approve the proposed 2025 budget. Meeting was properly announced, and all said the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: Chairman: Larry Propson, Supervisors: Doug Marcelle and Henry Hecht; Clerk: LeAnne Karls, Treasurer: Lori Fhlug, Highway Supervisor Logan Schmitz and two citizens. Chairman Propson read through budget revenues and expenses for 2026. General discussion took place. Chuck Schneider made a motion, seconded by Erv Selk, approving the Highway Expenditures in the amount of $1,281,418 for 2026. Hand count – unanimous at eight. Motion carried. Lori Fhlug made a motion, seconded by Logan Schmitz, approving the tax levy to be collected in 2026 at $421,863. Hand count – unanimous at eight. Motion carried. No further business. Doug Marcelle made a motion, seconded by Chuck Schneider, to adjourn. Motion carried. Meeting was properly announced. Roll Call: Same as above. Doug Marcelle made a motion, seconded by Henry Hecht, adopting the Year 2026 Budget for the Town of Brothertown. Motion carried. Being no further business, Henry Hecht made a motion, seconded by Doug Marcelle to adjourn. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m. LeAnne Karls, Town Clerk
