Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Monthly Town Board Meeting – March 7th, 2023 The Town Board of the Town of Brothertown met at 7:00 p.m. at the town hall to audit and pay all bills and take care of agenda items before the board. The meeting was properly announced. All said the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: Chairman: Chuck Schneider, Supervisors: Doug Marcelle and Larry Propson, Treasurer: Lori Fhlug, Clerk: LeAnne Karls, Highway Supervisor: Logan Schmitz and two citizens. Doug Marcelle made a motion, seconded by Larry Propson, to accept the agenda as printed correcting the typo in the word stray. Motion carried. Larry Propson made a motion, seconded by Doug Marcelle, to accept the minutes of the February 7th, 2023, meeting as read. Motion carried. Lori Fhlug gave the Treasurer’s Report for January 2023. Doug Marcelle made a motion, seconded by Larry Propson, to accept the Treasurer’s Report. Motion carried. Bills were presented. Larry Propson made a motion, seconded by Doug Marcelle, approving payment of bills and disbursements for February 2023. Motion carried. There were no citizen comments and no certified survey maps. Chairman Schneider read a letter received from the Calumet County Sheriff’s Dept. requesting the township contract with the humane society for stray animals. The board decides to leave as is. The bid opening was pushed back and is to now be held on 03/10/2023 at 10:00 a.m. The Bugnet map was reviewed in further detail. Logan Schmitz gave the Highway Supervisor’s report. Jannettes crushed asphalt. Salt is being delivered tomorrow. He will also be posting the roads tomorrow. Building permits were reviewed. Being no further business, Doug Marcelle made a motion, seconded by Larry Propson, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:33 p.m. LeAnne Karls, Town Clerk
