May 2025 Minutes

Town Hall 6:30 PM May 14, 2025 The regular monthly meeting for the Town of New Holstein was called to order at 6:30 pm by Chairman, Ben Henke. Members present: Chairman Ben Henke, Supervisor Dean Konen, Supervisor Len Heimerman, Treasurer Mary Jo Muellenbach, Clerk Samantha Muellenbach Residents present: Wes Rabe. Non residents present: Town of New Holstein Maintenance Technician Mark Whitten. All recited the pledge of Allegiance in prior meeting. Clerk Muellenbach noted the meeting was properly posted according to WI State Statue. A motion to accept the agenda was made by Supervisor Heimerman, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. A motion to accept the April monthly minutes and April Special minutes as read was made by Supervisor Konen seconded by Supervisor Heimerman, motion carried. Public Comments: none A motion to approve treasurers’ report was made by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Heimerman, motion carried. A motion to accept the bills for payment was made by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. Discussed current and future equipment repairs and maintenance. Supervisor Konen advised of new permits given. No discussion, comments or action for Railroad Tracks needed. Resident Wes Rabe spoke to the board about tiling his property and boring under the road to connect with the neighboring property. The board suggested coming back with alternatives to tiling and boring and obtain recommendations from the NRCS and DNR. A motion to approve the CSM Reed & Jessica Maurer/JR Maurer Properties as submitted was made by Supervisor Heimerman, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. Tabling the Municipal Delegation Form/Ordinance. A motion to approve Ordinance 2025-1 for Appointment of Town Clerk to Board of Review was made by Supervisor Heimerman, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. A motion to approve Ordinance 2025-2 for Appointment of Alternate Members to Board of Review was made by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. Discussed next steps for Electronic Signatures Tabling Treasurer/Clerk Contract to the June 2025 meeting. Discussed correspondence received.
