August 2023 Minutes

Town of New Holstein Town Hall 6:30 August 9th, 2023 The regular monthly meeting for the Town of New Holstein was called to order at 6:35 pm by Chairman, Ben Henke. Members present: Chairman Ben Henke, Supervisor Dean Konen, Supervisor Len Heimerman, Treasurer Mary Jo Muellenbach, and Clerk Lynn Pendleton. The pledge of Allegiance was recited by all. A motion to accept the agenda was made by Supervisor Konen, seconded by Chairman Henke, motion carried. A motion to accept the minutes from the July 12, 2023, meeting as read was made by Supervisor Heimerman, seconded by Chairman Henke, motion carried. Public Comments: None A motion to approve the monthly treasurers’ report as presented was made by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Heimerman, motion carried. Open discussion on Clerk’s report. A motion to accept the August bills for payment was made by Supervisor Konen, seconded by Supervisor Heimerman, motion carried. A motion to implement the ARPA funds to the 2023 Road Projects was made by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. Open discussion on the purchase of new mower head for Diamond Mower, tabled until more information is available. Discussed correspondence from Calumet County.
