Town of New Holstein Town Hall 6:30 July 12th, 2023 The regular monthly meeting for the Town of New Holstein was called to order at 6:33 pm by Chairman, Ben Henke. Members present: Chairman Ben Henke, Supervisor Dean Konen, Supervisor Len Heimerman, Treasurer Mary Jo Muellenbach, and Clerk Lynn Pendleton, also present Bob Pendleton. The pledge of Allegiance was recited by all. A motion to accept the agenda was made by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Heimerman, motion carried. Public Comments: None Chris Mauer spoke on behalf of Matt Halada regarding the Calumet County Comprehensive Planning Update. A verbal agreement to participate in the Calumet County Comprehensive Plan was made, further action tabled until a later date when more details are available. A motion to approve the monthly treasurers’ report as presented was made by Supervisor Konen, seconded by Supervisor Heimerman, motion carried. Open discussion on Clerk’s Report. A motion to accept the July bills for payment was made by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. A motion to approve temporary liquor licenses for St. Ann Sportsman Club & St. Ann Church was made by Supervisor Heimerman, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. Open discussion on raising tax levy limit, tabled until August meeting. Open discussion on lowing speed limit on Country Aire Road, tabled until a later date. Open discussion on road safety, tabled for future information. Discussed correspondence from Calumet County.
