Town of New Holstein Town Hall 6:30 March 9th 2022 The regular monthly meeting for the Town of New Holstein was called to order 6:30 pm by Chairman, Ben Henke. Members present: Ben Henke, Dean Konen, Len Heimerman, Mary Jo Muellenbach, and Cheryl Heller, also present was Bob Pendleton. The pledge of Allegiance was said by all. A motion to accept the agenda was made by Len Heimerman seconded by Dean Konen and carried 3-0. A motion to accept the minutes as read, from the February 9th 2022 Town Board meeting was made by Ben Henke seconded by Len Heimerman and carried 3-0. A motion to approve the monthly treasurers’ report as presented was made by Dean Konen seconded by Ben Henke and carried 3-0. A motion to accept the March bills for payment, was made by Dean Konen seconded by Ben Henke and carried 3-0. Public Comment: None. Dale Behnke from Rural Insurance did not attend the meeting, Len reported on the meeting he had with Dale and discussed insurance updates. A discussion of the residential garbage pick-up at Seven Corners Bar took place, Mary Jo will call GFL to have bins removed and the charges will be taken off the tax roll. Dean made a motion to amend the Salt contract from 200 ton to 250 ton it was seconded by Len Heimerman and carried 3-0. Dean Konen: Reported weight limit signs will be going up soon. He will be discussing roads projects with Northeast Asphalt and Calumet County. Len Heimerman: No Report Cheryl Heller: Shared a building permit refund request. She asked about Road Inspections being started again. Mary Jo Muellenbach: Reported on the recycle meeting she attended, and reported Consortium will do a tire drop off again this year. Ben Henke: No report. A motion to adjourn was made at 8:15 pm by Len Heimerman, seconded by Ben Henke and carried 3-0 Respectfully submitted by: Cheryl Heller, Clerk.
