Town of New Holstein Town Hall 6:30 May 11th, 2022 The regular monthly meeting for the Town of New Holstein was called to order 6:30 pm by Chairman, Ben Henke. Members present: Ben Henke, Dean Konen, Len Heimerman, Mary Jo Muellenbach, and Cheryl Heller, also present was Bob Pendleton. The pledge of Allegiance was said by all. A motion to accept the amended agenda was made by Dean Konen seconded by Len Heimerman and carried 3-0. A motion to accept the minutes as read, from the April 13th, 2022, Town Board meeting was made by Len Heimerman seconded by Ben Henke and carried 3-0. A motion to approve the monthly treasurers’ report as presented was made by Dean Konen seconded by Len Heimerman and carried 3-0. A motion to accept the May bills for payment, was made by Ben Henke seconded by Dean Konen, carried 3-0. Public Comment: None. Discussed the Town’s budget. A motion made by Ben Henke to pay off the tractor Loan with money in the X-fund was seconded by Len Heimerman and carried 3-0. A motion to replace seven culverts, reconstruct approx. 400 ft of Foundry Road & purchase 2 standby culverts was made by Dean Konen seconded by Ben Henke and carried 3-0. Dean Konen: Reported Bob will be working 4, 10-hour days thru Oct. He also reported the NH Fire Dept. will be blowing out 3 culverts. Len Heimerman: No Report Cheryl Heller: No Report Mary Jo Muellenbach: Reported Dog licenses are complete and that she spoke with a Town resident about various issues. Ben Henke: Discussed the Calumet Co. planning and zoning report. Provided clarification of road weight limits and the manure ordinance was discussed.
