Town of New Holstein Town Hall 6:30 August 10th, 2022 The regular monthly meeting for the Town of New Holstein was called to order at 6:30 pm by Chairman, Ben Henke. Members present: Ben Henke, Dean Konen, Len Heimerman, Mary Jo Muellenbach, and Cheryl Heller. Also present was Bob Pendleton. The pledge of Allegiance was said by all. A motion to accept the agenda as amended was made by Dean Konen seconded by Len Heimerman and carried 3-0. A motion to accept the minutes as read, from the July 13th, 2022, Town Board meeting was made by Len Heimerman seconded by Ben Henke and carried 3-0. A motion to approve the monthly treasurers’ report as presented was made by Ben Henke seconded by Dean Konen and carried 3-0. A motion to accept the August bills for payment, was made by Ben Henke seconded by Dean Konen, carried 3-0. Public Comment: None Richard Snelson did not attend the meeting. Len updated the board on the new Truck specs and potential purchase process. Len will contact St Anna and New Holstein Fire Dept. to get rosters, he will also ask New Holstien Fire for a proposed contract. The Board is looking to set a drivers’ meeting for some time in early fall. Ben said he wants to be sure everyone has open lines of communication. A motion to replace the culvert on Honeymoon Hill Rd & Tecumseh Rd not to exceed $15,000 was made by Dean Konen seconded by Ben Henke and carried 3-0. Dean reported culverts and shouldering was complete and paving will begin next week. Cheryl reported a 39.5% turnout at the August primary. Tiling was discussed. A Driveway permit application on a county road was discussed.
