Cy Williams/Maple Lake Redevelopment Ad-Hoc Sub Committee of Park Commission April 8, 2026 Meeting called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Committee Chairman Kevin Meyer. Committee members present: Kay Coates, Sue Harris, Scott Lebuis, Nancy Ohman. Absent: Anita Kendall and Junior Stebbeds. Guest Linda Goldsworthy Sue Harris reported on the agenda posting in accordance with Wisconsin Open Meeting Law. Quorum of committee members (4 of 7 ) established. Motion by Sue Harris and seconded by Nancy Ohman to approve the agenda. Motion carried. 4:0 Committee reviewed the minutes of March 5, 2026. Motion by Kay Coates and seconded by Nancy Ohman. Motion carried. 4:0 (Sue was absent from this meeting and abstained) Linda Goldsworthy, on behalf of the Three Lakes Community Foundation (TLCF), advised the committee that applications for fundraising were due the 15th of each month. Again, Goldsworthy highly encouraged the committee to apply for a grant with the TLCF as they assist in funding projects that fit similar goals. Chairman Meyer provided an update on the Melon Foundation grant that was applied for on behalf of this committee and park redevelopment. Scott Lebuis arrived at 5:17 p.m. Many possibilities were discussed from street access, permanent piers, year round park usage, sound system, movie screen, new welcoming center. Comment was made that the DNR may have funds to help pay expenses to remove the bathhouse considering the asbestos. Next meeting is scheduled for April 22, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Three Lakes Municipal Building. No public comments were heard. Meyer will compile a list of the “wish list” items for the next meeting. Motion to adjourn by Nancy Ohman second by Sue Harris to adjourn at 6:04 p.m. Motion carried. 5:0 Nancy Ohman Committee Member
