TOWN OF PELICAN MINUTES OF REGULAR BOARD MEETING MAY 4 TH, 2026 The regular meeting of the Town of Pelican Board was called to order by Chairman Nick Scholtes on Monday, May 4th, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the Pelican Town Hall. Notice of the meeting was posted in accordance with Wisconsin’s Open Meeting Law. Roll call: Present were Chairman Nick Scholtes, Supervisors Walter Dahlquist Jr. James Cates, Treasurer Cindy Carroll and Clerk Mike Ring. Open Road Bids Musson’s $169,129.06, Pitlick and Wick $166,130.050, American Asphalt $160,093.10 and Northeast Asphalt $149,727.06. Motion/second Dahlquist/Cates to approve Northeast Asphalts bid for Bergman Rd. All aye on voice vote and motion carried Motion/second Cates/Dahlquist to approve minutes of the regular town board meeting of April 20th, 2026. All aye on voice vote and motion carried. 15 Minutes of informal public comments- Motion/second Dahlquist/Cates to approve wake enhancement ordinance. All aye on voice vote and motion carried. Motion/second Cates/Dahlquist to approve CUP for PE-1001. All aye on voice vote and motion carried. Motion/second Scholtes/Dahlquist to approve quick claim deed for road off of Driscol Rd All aye on voice vote and motion carried. Motion/second Cates/Dahlquist to approve repairs to fire departments old brush truck before sale of it. All aye on voice vote and motion carried. Motion/second Dahlquist/Cates to pay vouchers 11459-11496 in the amount of $25,976.94. All aye on voice vote and motion carried. Motion/second Cates/Dahlquist accept the Treasurer’s report as presented. All aye on voice vote and motion carried.
