TOWN OF PELICAN MINUTES OF REGULAR BOARD MEETING DECEMBER 15 TH, 2025 The regular meeting of the Town of Pelican Board was called to order by Chairman Nick Scholtes on Monday, December 15th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the Pelican Town Hall. Notice of the meeting was posted in accordance with Wisconsin’s Open Meeting Law. Roll call: Present were Chairman Nick Scholtes, Supervisors Walter Dahlquist Jr. James Cates, Treasurer Cindy Carroll and Clerk Mike Ring. Motion/second Cates/Dahlquist to approve minutes of the regular town board meeting of December 1st, 2025. All aye on voice vote and motion carried. Motion/second Cates/Dahlquist sub-division of PE-584 & PE-585. All aye on voice vote and motion carried. Motion/second Dahlquist/Cates to approve purchase of 2 Go-Pro Cameras up to $800 in total. All aye on voice vote and motion carried. Motion/second Dahlquist/Cates to approve layout A from MSA on Faust Lake/Old 8 intersection redesign. All aye on voice vote and motion carried. December 15th, 2025 I, Nick Scholtes, Town of Pelican Chairman, nominate the following people to be appointed for a period of two years, to the position of Election Inspectors. These appointments will commence on January 1st, 2026, and expire December 31st 2027. Sylvia Carlson Cheryl Tubbs Dawn Wickline Sandy Cihlar Haylee Ring Donna Leavitt Richard Laddusire Tom Davis Motion/second Dahlquist/Cates to accept nominations. All ayes on voice vote and motion carried. Clerk Ring appointed Cheryl Tubbs and Sidney Ring, Chief Inspectors. Motion/second Cates/Dahlquist to pay vouchers 11285-11294 in the amount of $11,148.90. All aye on voice vote and motion carried. Motion/second Cates/Dahlquist accept the Treasurer’s report as presented. All aye on voice vote and motion carried.
