Verify Open Meeting Notice & Roll Call: The open meeting notice was verified. Chairman Maurice King,
Supervisor LeRoy Pukrop, Supervisor Dennis Meis, Clerk Angela Lochinger, and Treasurer Lori Kolodziej were
present. 1 town residents and/or visitors were present.
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chairman King at 6:00 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was
recited.
Approval of Minutes from the meetings of December 17, 2025: Supervisor Pukrop motioned to approve the
minutes of December 17, 2025, as presented. Supervisor Meis seconded. The motion passed 3-0.
Citizens wishing to address the Town Board: Doug Evica discussed concerns about icy gravel roads.
Supervisor Comments/Concerns: None
Discussion/Action on Resolution No.1-2026, a resolution authorizing the posting of weight limits on
town roads: Following discussion, Supervisor Meis motioned to approve Resolution No.1-2026, a
resolution authorizing the posting of weight limits on town roads. Supervisor Pukrop seconded. The
motion passed 3-0.
Update on Health & Safety Plan: Chairman King reported progress has been made. The main priorities
now are having an engineer check the weight capacity of the two mezzanines - one in the town garage
and one in the fire department, planning training, and updating and labelling storage containers.
Clerk/Treasurer Reports for December: The board reviewed the Clerk and Treasurer reports for December,
noting that the reports balanced.
Supervisor Pukrop motioned to accept the Clerk and Treasurer reports as presented. Supervisor Meis
seconded. The motion passed 3-0.
Chairperson’s Report on town work and activities: Chairman King reported that he has been reviewing and
organizing town files, including updating policies, the fee schedule, and the employee handbook. He will also
be working on inventory. Town employees have been sanding and salting roads, as well as maintaining and
cleaning vehicles. The Sterling truck and related equipment were sold for $9,580.
Correspondence: The board reviewed correspondence.
Meeting Dates & Agendas: Upcoming Town meetings will be held at the Town of Dewey Town Hall on:
•Monday, February 16, 2026 – 6:00 p.m. – Town Board meeting
Approve and Pay Bills: Supervisor Meis motioned to approve and pay the bills as presented. Supervisor
Pukrop seconded. The motion passed 3-0.
Adjournment: Chairman King adjourned the meeting at 6:38 p.m.
