Town of Lake Tomahawk – Draft: Planning Commission Minutes Tuesday January 28th 2020 Attending: Steve Forrest (Chair), Tom kester, Catherine Parker, Larry Hoffman. Call to order at 6:30 pm Forres moved to approved agenda, second Parker, all approved Forrest moved to approve minutes of last meeting , Parker second, all approved. Discussion held on County allowing less than seven day rentals of tourist Rooming Houses . Motion by Forrest that the Plan commission recommends the Lake Tomahawk Town board let the County know that we are not in favor of less than seven day rentals except where they are now currently allowed ” Parker second, motion carries. Discussion was held on The request from local ATV/UTV Clubs that the Town open Lakewood Rd to ATV/UTV traffic, and to support opening highway D from Birch Rd to the trail head in Lake Tomahawk. An additional request to open portions of Tulip, Lilly and N. Bluebird Rd was presented. Letters from several other towns, and the Woodruff Police Department were submitted stating that there had been little if any problems since town roads had been opened for ATV/UTV use. After public input was heard, the Plan Commission felt this was important enough an issue that all Residents should have a voice. Motion by Forrest “ The Plan Commission recommends that a survey be sent to all Lake Tomahawk residents and property owners asking “Are you in favor of opening all Lake Tomahawk town roads to ATV/UTV traffic”. Second Parker motion carries. Next meeting shall be Wednesday February 19th 2020 Motion to adjourn, meeting adjourned at 7:35
