Approved 112525 Special Town Board Meeting - Budget Workshop Thursday October 9, 2025 3:00 P.M. Boulder Junction Community Center, Town Office 5392 Park Street, Boulder Junction, WI 54512 MINUTES 1) CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/ ROLL CALL  This Special Town Board Meeting Budget Workshop was properly noticed according to WI State Statute 19.85. Chairman Reuss called the meeting to order at 2:15 pm and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Also present were Supervisor Laura Berth, Supervisor Dylan Schutt and Clerk/Treasurer Dan Driscoll. 2) APPROVAL OF AGENDA /ORDER OF THE DAY(discussion & possible action)  MOTION BERTCH/SECOND SCHUTT. To approve agenda. VOTE: MOTION UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED. A. Discussion and possible action – Approve August 2025 Financial Statement O No action taken 3) OLD BUSINESS (discussion and possible action) A. Discussion and possible action - Budget work session to work on 2026 budget and worksheet O Board held a discussion on the 2026 budget and budget request from the EMS district for 2026. O Board was not interested in raising the allowable 2025 levy. O There were questions regarding the amount of the request for the EMS district and discussion of budgeting a lesser amount than requested for 2026 and using fund balances to pay the remaining amount. O No board action was taken on the 2026 budget B. Discussion and possible action – Approve Agreement with snowmobile club for new snowmobile barn O MOTION REUSS/SECOND BERTCH. To approve agreement with snowmobile club for new snowmobile barn.  Barn will be built entirely with funds raised by the snowmobile club. Town will permit club to build barn on town property just to the north of the existing snowmobile barn. Snowmobile club will control and maintain barn as long as the snowmobile club operates. Town will only control and maintain barn if the snowmobile club ceases to operate. 4) SUGGEST TOPICS FOR FUTURE BUDGET WORKSHOPS  No action taken 5) DISCUSS NEED AND SET DATE FOR NEXT WORKSHOPS  The next budget workshop will be October 22, 2025 6) ADJOURN(discussion & possible action)  Chairman Reuss adjourned the meeting at 4:05 pm
