Village of Marquette Green Lake County, Wisconsin Regular Meeting Minutes, June 8, 2026 Call to Order The regular meeting of the Village Board, for the Village of Marquette, was called to order by President Cybul at 7:00 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call Roll Call: President-Art Cybul-present Clerk-Susan Geraldi-present Trustee-Peter Michalos-present Treasurer- Paula Gilbertson-present Trustee-Tony Deiss-present There were 4 citizens in attendance. Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings Law Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings law: Agenda notice was posted in three public places-Village Hall, kiosks at the Post Office and Truck Garage, also posted on the Village Website. Approve Agenda A motion to approve the agenda was made. Deiss/Michalos. Motion passed. (unanimous) Approval of BOR & Regular Minutes sent to Board members A motion to approve the minutes from the BOR & May meeting was made. Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed (unanimous) Reading and Approval of Treasurer’s Report The Treasurer’s report was read. Motion to approve the Treasurer’s report was made. Deiss/Michalos. Motion passed. (unanimous) Approve Payment of Bills Approve payment of Bills: Presented for payment were vouchers 1385-1403 in the amount of $4322.08 plus the $4,700.00 for the maintained balance and utilities for the Grand total of $9022.08. The banks ending balance will be amended to $5162.83 for 5/13/26. The Motion to pay the bills as presented and transfer from the appropriate accounts the amount of $8000.00 to the General Fund. (unanimous) Citizen Comments - Time Limits No citizen comments Discuss/Approve: Approve Liquor, Tobacco & Mobile Home Licenses Class ‘B” Beer & Liquor Combination Licenses Robert G. Hill, agent, Tucked Away, LLC, Peter C. Michalos, Pub N Prime Cigarette License Robert G. Hill, agent, Tucked Away, LLC. Mobile Home Operating License Eunice Cahoon-Cahoon’s Resort Operators Licenses: Kevin Ward, Peter Michalos, Carie Hill, Rosemary Johnson, Sarah Griffin, Ann Hau, Bob Hill, Jennifer Egan, Brenda Gollnick, Rachel Koerner. Michalos abstained. Deiss/Cybul. Motion passed. Road Bids The Village received LRIP bids from Fahrner, Scotts Construction, and Northeast Asphalt. The President Cybul will review questions raised with the board with each bidder to clarify quotes. The village might need to run another LRIP ad for clarification. Board Reminders/Updates: Recycling update The dumpster will be scheduled to be picked up next week Update on Road Construction: The county will be working on grading, striping and landscaping by the end of June.
