Village of Marquette Green Lake County, Wisconsin Regular Meeting Minutes, November 10, 2025 Call to Order The regular meeting of the Village Board, for the Village of Marquette, was called to order by President Cybul at 7:03 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call Roll Call: President-Art Cybul-present Clerk-Susan Geraldi-present. Trustee-Peter Michalos-present Treasurer- Paula Gilbertson-present Trustee-Tony Deiss-present There were four citizens in attendance. Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings Law Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings law: Agenda notice was posted in three public places-Village Hall, kiosks at the Post Office and Truck Garage, also posted on the Village Website. Approve Agenda A motion to approve the agenda was made. Deiss/Michalos, Motion passed. (unanimous) Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes sent to Board members. A motion to approve the Regular Meeting minutes was made. Michalos/Deiss, Motion passed. (Unanimous) Approval of Special Budget Minutes sent to Board members. A motion to approve the Special Budget Meeting minutes was made. Michalos/Deiss, Motion passed. (Unanimous) Reading and Approval of Treasurer’s Report The Treasurer’s report was read. The motion to approve the Treasurer’s report was made. Deiss/Michalos, Motion passed. (unanimous) Approve payment of Bills: Presented for payment were vouchers 1232-1249 in the amount of $5,883.33 plus the $4500.00 for the maintained balance and utilities for the Grand total of $10,383.33. There will be one transfer to the general fund of $9200.00. The motion to approve the bills, Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. (unanimous) Citizen Comments - Time Limits No Citizens Comments Discuss/Approve: Approve Village Tax Levy The motion was made to approve the 2026 Village Tax Levy of 50,971. Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. (Unanimous) Approve Clean Out of Krueger property at a cost of $2000. Max Notices will be sent to surrounding neighbors to relocate their sump pump and rainwater pipes from draining into the ditch. The motion was made to approve the clean out. Deiss/Michalos. Motion passed. (Unanimous) Board Reminders/Updates End of Year letter preparation The board will start working on items to include in the End of Year letter. Trick or Treat at the Village Hall Marquette’s 2nd Trick or Treating event was again successful. Thank you to the Marquette Fire Department for bringing the truck for the kids , Marquette Township, and everyone else who participated in handing out candy, treats, and helping with the rock painting and coloring. Construction Update The final coating of asphalt is delayed due to the weather. Hopefully, it will be completed by the end of the week. Only a middle lane strip will be done this year due to the weather, and the remaining street striping will be completed in the Spring.
