Village of Marquette Green Lake County, Wisconsin Regular Meeting Minutes, June 9, 2025 Call to Order The regular meeting of the Village Board, for the Village of Marquette, was called to order by President Cybul at 7:03 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call Roll Call: President-Art Cybul-present Clerk-Susan Geraldi-present Trustee-Peter Michalos-present Treasurer- Paula Gilbertson-present Trustee-Tony Deiss-present There were 4 citizens in attendance. Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings Law Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings law: Agenda notice was posted in three public places-Village Hall, kiosks at the Post Office and Truck Garage, also posted on the Village Website. Approve Agenda A motion to approve the agenda was made. Michalos/Deiss, Motion passed. (unanimous) Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes sent to Board members A motion to approve the Regular Meeting minutes was made. Deiss/Michalos Motion passed. (Unanimous) Reading and Approval of Treasurer’s Report The Treasurer’s report was read. The motion to approve the Treasurer’s report was made. Michalos/Deiss, Motion passed. (unanimous) Approve Payment of Bills Approve payment of Bills: Presented for payment were vouchers 1126-1144 in the amount of $6977.62 plus the $4500.00 for the maintained balance and utilities for the Grand total of $11,477,62. There will be 1 transfer to the general fund of $10,300.00. The motion to approve the bills, Michalos/Deiss, Motion passed. Mobile Home Operating License Eunice Cahoon-Cahoon’s Resort Mark Fields & Kathy Cramer-Fields-Sportsman’s Resort Operator’s License-New & Renewal (The following new & renewal applications have a copy of their Responsible Server Course Certificate on file in the Village Office. Deiss/Michalos, Motion passed. (unanimous) Review and Approve Ordinance No 71 parking restrictions on the South Side of Second St. After construction is complete and parallel parking is added the ordinance will be enforced. The motion to approve was made. Michalos/Deiss, Motion passed. (unanimous) Ordinance will be posted for 30 days and sent to Attorney for approval. Board Reminders/Updates Village Street Construction update Derek Mashuda is still waiting for DNR permit. Utility work is still ongoing in preparation for construction. Tree survey will happen on Friday the 13 th of June for placement of free trees for the Village. Plow truck needed repairs for brake light not working Lyons St Kiosks needs updating to draw attention for more donations. The Village Clerk will update it. Abby Belle’s Fountain Food Truck would like to set up in the Village if the days Monday through Weds. Would work out for them. Village President will look in to using Safety grant money to purchase new parking barriers for the Village Hall after parking lot is chip sealed. Ordinance 65 & 2A needs further amending and discussion before bringing it to the board Adjourn Motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 p.m. Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. (unanimous)
