Town of Brooklyn Plan Commission The Brooklyn Plan Commission will meet at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the Brooklyn Town Hall N5988 County Road A Green Lake, WI 54941 The Town of Brooklyn has been notified that Green Lake County is updating its Comprehensive Plan. The County does this every 10 years. A key part of this effort is updating each town’s future land use. The Land Use Planning & Zoning Department has sent a current land use map for Brooklyn and all the other towns in Green Lake County. We are asked to review the map and mark up any changes that are currently happening in the town, or changes that we would like to see happen in the next 10 or so years. The map uses colors to indicate current land use, showing farmland preservation areas, commercial uses, industrial uses, recreational land and residential areas. Once the plan commission has finished the draft, the Town Board will review and formally approve. The approved draft needs to be back to the GL Land Use Planning & Zoning Department by October 1, 2026. The draft approved by the Town Board will be incorporated into the final future land use map which will become part of the 2026 Comprehensive Green Lake County Plan. The meeting will be open to the public.
