Minutes 1. The July11, 2023, meeting was called to order by Chairman Wuest at 6:00 p.m. 2. Pledge of Allegiance was said by all. 3. Approve minutes of the June 13, 2023, meeting. M/S Reabe/Rather to approve the minutes of the June 13, 2023, meeting passed. 4. Monthly Financial Review: a. Treasurer’s report – Summary of last month’s financial statements June was a slightly slower month, with $54,000.00 from the City of Green Lake for an overpayment on the fire department billing. b. Clerk’s report – Budget report (monthly) expenses and revenues. It was kind of a slower month as well, with business as usual. 5. Library report – Christine Lyon, Director: The Library report was received and read by all. 6. Building Inspector report – Building Permits issued: The report of building permits was received and read by all. 7. Fire Commission report – Mark Pettack – report on monthly meetings. Pettack reported that the department received info on electric cars and the State is trying to figure out how to train the department for an electric car fire with a lithium battery. Department might have to budget for “plug ins” for this. One of the trucks still has an electrical issue with the computer on it. 8. County Board Supervisor Report – Harley Reabe: Reabe reported that a resolution requesting the State of Wisconsin do a revision on foreign ownership of farmland was passed. A resolution was passed for debt financing for roads and bridges. A resolution to approve ARPA funds for the Uniquely Wisconsin Program was passed. An ordinance was approved for a rezone in the Town of Green Lake for Robert Kolton. 9. Chairperson Reports: a. Road Report – Mike Wuest: Wuest reported that mowing is just about done. Nothing else to report. 10. Supervisor Reports: a. Recycling Report – Supervisor Reabe: Reabe reported that last month the recycling averaged a little over 3 tons. Lots of garbage and lots of brush. Weed Commissioner Report – Supervisor Pettack: Pettack reported that the only thing that grows is weeds in this very hot and dry summer!! Wild parsnip has come back. 12. Consideration and Action on: Agreement with Catalis Appraisal Market Update Revaluation M/SWuest/Reabe to approve the agreement with Catalis Appraisal for the Market update Revaluation. Wuest; yes; Reabe: yes; Rather: yes; Pettack: yes; Triemstra: yes. Motion passed 5-0. 13. Consideration and Action on: Presentation and discussion with Mark Hazelbaker on withdrawal from County Zoning. Hazelbaker called last night to inform the chairman that he was sick at this time, and could not come to the meeting. This will be back on the agenda in August. 14. Consideration and Action on: Withdrawal from County Zoning. No action at this time. 15. Next Board Meeting: August 8, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. 17.
