Town Board July 2026 — Minutes

Town of Springwater July 13, 2026 Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present C/Hernandez, S/Johnson, S/Baitinger Motion by S/Johnson, Second by S/Batinger to accept the agenda as presented. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve the June 8, 2026 meeting minutes. Motion carried. Public Comments: Susan Herman reported on the volunteer hours at the Covered Bridge Park. Joe Herman requested the Board consider putting in an irrigation system at the Covered Bridge Park. He also noted there is a crack in the barn foundation. Clerk’s Report: Motion by S/Baitinger, Second byS/Johnson to approve checks 23130-23166 for a total of $77,967.79. Motion carried. The Board heard from Jerry, a representative from American Asphalt in regards to the quote vs. the actual invoice. Motion by S/Johnson, Second by S/Baitinger to not pay the additional charge. Motion carried. Road Report: Mike repaired the Gilbert Lake and Pine Lake boat landing. He continues to patch roads and clear out brush from around the signs. He and Ken will use screening to shoulder W. Round Lake Road when it cools down. Matt with Saxeville-Springwater Fire Department reported their Chicken BBQ went well. They are planning a Sportman’s Banquet February 13, 2027. Zoning violations forDaniel Salaja & Tammy Lisk, Karen Beyer, Katie Rick were read. Cutting notices for Daniel Jansen and Mark Menting were read. Application for Extension (6/18/2027) to Conditional Use for Project Harmony was read. Future agenda items: 20th Court Next meeting: August 10 , 2026. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johson to adjourn the meeting at 7:45 pm Motion carried.
