Annual Meeting — Minutes

Town of Springwater Annual Board Meeting April 15, 2025 Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present C/Hernandez, S/Baitinger, S/Johnson Motion by S/BaitInger, Second by S/Johnson to approve the 2024 minutes as read. Motion carried. The Board reviewed the 2024 Financial Statement. Motion by Chris Kelly, Second by Ron Huffman to hold a hand vote. Motion carried. Motion by Ron Huffman, Second by Victoria Strey to discuss the sale of the three lake access points on the west side of Long Lake Road. Motion by Joe Herman, Second by Ron Huffman to not sell any lake access points in the Town of Springwater. Motion failed. Motion by Richard Rose, Second by Jim Button for the Board to consider selling the walk-in lake access properties in the Town of Springwater. The Board will take into consideration the safety, liability and accessibility of each property on a case by case basis. Motion carried. Motion by Chris Kelly, Second by Joe Herman to discuss shrub removal along the road. Motion by Richard Rose, Second by Jim Button to eliminate the Town from being a landlord. Motion carried. Jim Button shared he is on the Economic Development Board for Waushara County and is seeking ideas on any improvements to our Parks in the township. Joe Herman brought up making improvements to the Pickle Ball Courts. Next annual meeting is April 21, 2026 (Third Tuesday in April per statutes).
